I'm having a heck of a time finding any info beyond a William Wylie out of South Carolina born around or about 1813. William's wife was Frances Ann Richards. His son is William Jasper Newton Wylie (B: 23 July 1835 D: 27 February 1915 in Gravelly Springs, Lauderdale County, AL).
Other potential children: Harrison, Jones, Stewart, Victoria (married a Phillip Jacob Irion), David, Alexander, Elizabeth. All info from the 1850 and 1860 Federal census.
