Mary Wylie married James Cunningham in 1820 in Stewarton, Ayrshire. They moved to New Monkton, Lanarkshire between 1851 and 1861. James died there in 1878. Mary is listed on the 1861 census, but not the 1871, so she must either have died between 1861-1871 or moved away from her husband. However, I haven't been able to find her death cert, so have no lead to her parents' names. Using her childrens' names and convenient places & dates, I'm guessing Mary's parents are Robert Wylie & Margaret Wilson, m 1793 in Stewarton. Any info on Mary's parents or siblings or her death would be appreciated.
