I am interested in finding information about the Wylie family from Kilwinning, Ayrshire, Scotland. According to parish records from Kilbarchan, Mary Wylie (my gg grandmother) was born in Kilwinning in 1810. She married John Craig 31 Oct 1835 in Kilbarchan Renfrewshire, Scotland. John was born 1802 in Kilbarchan. John and Mary had four children born in Kilbarchan, then emigrated to the United States and settled in Hazle, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. John, Mary and their three oldest children are found in the 1841 Census for Kilbarchan where John is listed as a coal miner.
