My Gt Gt Gt grandmother was Helenora (or Helenoria) Wylie who married James Patton (Paton) in Stewarton in about 1811. She died before 1855 and I have no family records of her parents' names. IF she followed the Scottish child naming pattern (as they did for the paternal grandparents at least), her parents may have been James and Margaret.
Not much to go on, but I wonder if she fits in with anybody's Wylie family of Stewarton? If so I'd love to hear from you.
