Wray Family Genealogy Forum

Hi to 24 years old. I am 83 years old. I didn't study computers in high school. I have worked on genealogy for over 50 years. Most of my Wray Family lived in what is now Franklin Co. Va. since about 1740. They have scattered from there in all directions and some have moved to N. Carolina. I have done no research in N. Carolina. You will have to list your parents and grandparents by name, birth and death dates and locations with as many names as you can get from your relatives and then you can look up records in courthouses and libraries to continue on with your ancesters. Look for original records like wills and the U.S. Census records and cemeteries. They are very accurate. I hope you don't get discouraged and you continue on with your family records. It is something that you can stop and start again anytime.
I am glad that you are interested. Those ancesters were great people who survived many hard times. Ken Wray
