Hi Ross, You asked about Moses Wray. Moses was born about 1725 and married Eliz Morris about 1755. Their first child was James Wray (my grandfather) born 1756. Moses lived by Moggotty Creek in Bedford Co. Va which later was divided into Bedford and Franklin Cos. and he lived in Franklin Co. Va. Moses Wray died in Franklin Co in 1802.
Moses made out his will with another person, Moses could not write, on April 29, 1802. The will was probated on Oct 4, 1802. The William Wray who died in 1778 in Bedford Co. was probably a brother to Moses but I found no proof of this. William lived in the neighborhood and is the right age to be a brother.
I have not seen the Yarborough name in my Wray records.
