Hi Ken
You know a lot about the Wrays and I appreciate the informatmion you have shared with Ray/Wray/Rea/Rhea researchers. You answered one queston for me I have been trying to fine the answer to. I know that Benjamin,Moses ad Jospeh Ray were iisted in the 1748 Lunenburg co Va censu but Benjamin was not listed in the 1749 cenus. You said he must have die by 1749. Did you by any chance see his grave at the Wray cemsmmtery? Also, there is a Wray cemtery in White Plains Va which I beleve is still in Brunswick co Va. I am sure that is a different cememtery. Do you think th Wrays from Lunenburg co and then Bedford co and then Franklin co Va were different wrays from the wrays in Brunwick co Va? I have researched the Rays for over five years and trying to find info about he different Moses Wrays and who they descended from and if they were all related is very difficult. You mentioned that o believe Moses Raydied in Franklin co Va. This would make sens. Most researcher blieve apparently that the Mose Wray who wrote his will in 1766 in Amherst oc Va was the Moses Ray who was listed in the 1748 and 1749 Lunenburg oc Va census. Ifound where a Joseph Wray or Ray died and left land to his two sns John and Andrew. Wold you know if thatwas the same Joseph Ray listed i the 1748 and 1749 Lunenburg co Va census? I believe he died in the 1770's. As you know my ancesotr was George Wray or Ray who was born i the 1740's in Va. I believe his fatherwas a Moses Wray who had sons William andThomas and Moses Jr and George all born in the 1740's but I am not sure. Any information you could send me or any stories If Moses died in Franklin co Va then that would prove he was a different Mose Wray from the one who died in 1766 in Amherst co Va athough in his will he also mentions his sons William and Thomas and Moses Jr and his other children. Thanks,Ross
