This Benjamin was born VA ca. 1814. On 21 Sep 1848, Pike Co, MO, he married Mary A (Vannoy) Maxwell as her 2nd husband. The 1850 Census, Pike Co, MO shows sons Albert 7 and James 5 who must be from an earlier marriage of Benjamin. Does anyone know with whom/when/where that 1st marriage took place?
