I have a David R. (Richardson) Woods born 1833 (?) to John Woods and Polly Richardson Woods in Pulaski County, Kentucky which is directly south and relatively close to Mercer County. I have no idea who John Woods' father is. I am aware of the Woods-McAfee connections to Mercer County, Kentucky. I have never been able to prove a connection. Contact me if I can be of any help. John Woods and his second wife migrate to Mercer County, Missouri in 1864 as does David Woods and his family.Thanks, Chuck
