At this point I really don’t have any idea whom may or may not be related! Until very recently, I was seeking the wrong man. Joseph Henry Wood’s death certificate said that his father was Charley E. Wood and mother Lucinda McKinzer… The Census’ show that he always lived with Netus Wood and Lucinda (McKenzie per marriage bond). There was a Stephen Wood living next door to Netus in 1850 Tazewell, Illinois census. Stephen was born in NY…
This Stephen’s father is proposed to be Ebeneezer Wood. Netus named his first son, Ebenezer… This is primarily all that I know. Netus was living in Bloomington, Franklin county, Nebraska in 1880. Joseph (my Great Grandfather) was living next door. By 1900, Joseph was living in Warren Township, Marion county, Missouri.
