The tombstone of Andreas Wint at Blue Church in Lehigh Co., PA says he was from Dauernheim, Amt Lingenheim, Germany, which appears to be in southern Hessen east of Langenselbold. Does anyone have any information on the Wints in this area? Of course4 we are curious if the original name was Windt. Andeas's mother was supposed to have been a Landgroff, also from the tombstone.
