In about 1958, my father came across one Christopher Walker's grave, literally in the middle of the bush in Africa (Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia). He had the presence of mind to photograph it. I found the photograph recently.
Christopher Walker's headstone says he was of Choma (a town in Zambia), born 25th May 1887 and died 11th September 1926, killed by an elephant.
