I need some serious help here. I have been tracing my Walker line for many, many years. Finally had a Walker male to do the DNA testing and looks like we fall into Group #15. My James L. Walker married Rebecca Johnston in Rutherford Co. in 1831. He died in 1848, and in 1853 Rebecca and her five children were in the part of Union County, Ga. that became Towns County, GA. I am trying to learn the parentage of James Walker and I think it was George Walker, son of John Walker (1847-1826). Are there any descendants of John Walker b. 1747 in VA and died 1826 Rutherford County, NC that could help me?
