Joan, that info is correct. Reuben Jr., m Betsy, not his son b 1835. As stated they were married by relative Rev. West Walker b 1770-72, d 1822 Roane Co., TN, "Baptist Man of God" (BMG) and in his honor they apparently named a child "West" after him.
Rev. West Walker was the 2nd son of Jesse, RS & 1st wife Frances, whom I believe strongly was Frances/Fanny "West."
You will note that we had been seeking to find all of the West Walker's in these early days. ...and documenting them in this GenForum.
