According to James Mooney's "HISTORY,MYTHS,and SACRED
FORMULAS of the CHEROKEES" COL.WILLIAM WOFFORD was JAMES
D.WOFFORDS uncle.NATHANIEL and LYDIA was his father and
mother.LYDIA was SEQUOYAS first cousin.JAMES was an
interpreter for the REV.EVAN JONES and led the largest
detachment of cherokees west to OKLAHOMA.He is listed
on the CHEROKEE ROLLS as CHOOALOOKA.GOOD LUCK and GOOD
READING.
