Everett UTTER
born Jan 10, 1912
died Apr 4, 1970

Alma Marguerite (VAN DUESEN) UTTER
born Mar 3, 1912
Died Aug 16, 1997

They probably got married between 1932 and 1938.

You could start with the 1920 and 1930 census.

The best way to find their parents would be to
order copies of their (SS-5) application for social security numbers.

They each would have filled out an application in the 1930's.
One of the questions on the card is who are your parents.
Both Everett and Alma would know the full names of their parents.

Everett's social security number is on the SSDI
so the cost for a copy of his SS-5 will be $27.00.
Alma is not listed in the SSDI so a copy of her SS-5 will be $29.00.

Everett died in Marquette County, Michigan.
You might want to order a copy of his death cert from the county clerk.

His death cert will have the name of the cemetery.

Then you can contact the cemetery to obtain additional info regarding Alma’s death.
(the county where she died) Then you order Alma's death cert from that county.

Then you can try for obits from the local newspapers.

Good luck

I hope this information will be helpful to your research.

Saginaw, Michigan
