Dear Dory, Thank you so much for getting back to me. I wish I could help you but I don't have any info on the Sawyer or Pierce Families. But you have given me new info regarding Catherine's Parents (Daniel Sawyer & Lydia Pierce) My Husband and I were in Starrucca many many years ago, and we drove by that Cemetery and did not know that my Husbands Family was there. At that time so many years ago we knew nothing about my husbands family except his Mother was Marie Craft and his Father was Otto Utter. We just found out Last year that his Father's real name was Oddie. My Husband was raised in foster homes for many years and his Father would tell him nothing about other Family members. My Husband Bob thought his father was hiding from the law or maybe the Military. Just recently we found that he was married to a Jennie ? before he married Marie Craft.We are up in years now,84 & 74 and will never be able to get up that way again. We live in Florida and Bob is on Dialyses. so if you are ever near that way again, would you please take a picture of the graves and E-Mail it to me.
