Nancy Utter b. 21 Jun 1808 Rensselaer Co., NY, d. 15 Jan. 1871 Pittstown, Rensselaer Co., NY married James Pine (James, James, James, Samuel, James, James, William), b. 1 Aug. 1788 Pittstown, NY, d. 19 Jul 1863 Pittstown, N.Y.
I have extensive information on the children if you want.
My Grandfather, Earl Pine Osborn spent many years researching the Pines and was never able to find the parents of Nancy Utter. Her father may be Isaac Utter. I have copied parts of documents written by him on what he knew about the parents of Nancy Utter.
Earl Pine Osborn:
The parents of Nancy Utter are unknown. Census records indicate that she was born in Rensselaer Co. Family tradition is that she was brought up by a Norton family and that she had a sister Charlotte who married a Shepard. In a cemetery back of the old Baptist Church in Pittstown Corners there is a stone for Isaac Utter "who died December 23, 1832 in the 50th year of his age."

Earl Pine Osborn letter to Loretta Akin(cousin, descendant of Charlotte Pine born 1840) March 17, 1966:
Perry Shepard Pine: I wish I knew where the name Perry Shepard came from. I have never been able to learn the ancestry of his mother Nancy Utter. Hannah says that Aunt Mary told her than Nancy was brought up by a Norton family in Pittstown but no one I have talked or written to knows anything about her. Hannah [Pine] says she has a sister Catherine (?) who married a Shepard. I wonder if there could have been a Perry Shepard. There was a rather prominent man in Pittstown whose name frequently appears in records whose name was Perry Warren. I wonder if both Perry and Warren were named after him, and if so, why. An Isaac Utter who died in 1832 at the age of 49 is buried in a Pittstown cemetery near several Norton graves. The fact that they named their first son James Isaac may indicate that this was Nancy's father but I have been equally frustrated in trying to trace his ancestry.
