According to my records,Jesse Benjamin Turnipseed, son of Michael Turnipseed and Susan Scott, was born 16 Feb 1825, and married Martha C. Ashford in 1856 in Winston County, Mississippi. They had seven children, including Frances "Fannie" Turnipseed who was born 13 Mar 1856 and died 26 Dec 1937 in Choctaw County, Mississippi. She married John Wesley Hunt in Attala County, Mississippi. I hope this helps, and if you want more info, I have plenty. Also, I'm interested in adding to my records whatever you will share on what you know of this family and their descendants.
