Tricia - Yes, we are ALL related it seems. Your great grandfather, William then, was born in 1845. His father was George D. born in 1818 Brooke Co. Va. (now WVA). His father was George, his father John, his father Thomas, his father John, his father, Thomas (my great grandfather), and his father was Gerrett. John and Van, my great, were brothers. Van and his wife were married at the same church - St. Barnabas in Upper Marlboro, MD, as John and his wife Mary Ray. I have been to that church (first was torn down). First John lived in MD and was born in 1696 and died in 1767. Second Thomas was born in 1728 and died in 1794. Second John was born in 1751 and died in 1832 in what is now WVA. First George was born in 1776 and died in 1855. He and his wife are buried in Three Springs Preby. Church Cem. in Hancock Co. WVA. Second George was born in 1818 and died in 1891. He and his wife are buried in Sac City, IA. William was born in 1845, your great grandfather. You may have all of this information but I thought I would let you know incase you did not. This came from Karel's book.

Tom
