I received the "Swearingen Book" by Karel Whyte (we should all be indebted to her) for my birthday. It is a hard-bound book. What a treasure this will be to hand down to my children. I highlighted our direct descendents and then used the back blank pages to add what was missing from our genealogy - basically my father's immediate family and my family. This book is a bargin for around 30 some dollars so you would be prudent to order one. I will keep adding our issue and then someone in the family will keep it up after I do (I hope). A good thing that came out of this - I have called and talked to four first cousins - have never really met. We were able to talk for a while and really get some good information out there. There were 28 grandchildren between Guy Swearingen and Josephine Van Steenburg - 17 I really did not know. I encourage all to make a call to long lost relatives and get reunited. It is a blessing and we all have that common bond. Thanks.

Tom Swearingen
