Hi Sherry - Johann Jakob Steinkoenig b-1707, immigrated to America in 1747 with 8 German born children. 4 sons, 3 daughters and 1 unknown. His wife Maria died either on the voyage or right after they arrived. Jacob married a Seneca Indian and had 5 more sons. A Judith has earlier been mentioned as a daughter, but it is now thought that she got the Stoneking name by some other means than birth. The American born sons were 1)John b-1750; 2)Henry b-1752; 3)Adam b-1755; 4) Samuel b-1756; 5)Jacob II b-1765. My wife was the Stoneking here and she descended from the 1765 Jacob, as you are. Sherry, email me and I can give you more detailed information if you want. - John
