Hi Ann,

My line runs thru Jokob the immagrant - Jacob II - James Samuel - Jacob Clark & Jane - Thomas Clark - Thomas Elmer - Ruby Caroline.

I am very interested in the lastest information you might have about Jacob the immigrant and Summer Eve. Also on the controversy of Judith and John being Summer Eve's children by a first marriage.

I have checked all the forums out there and so far no one has the answers yet.

I know there must be an indian connection due to the Illinois Stoneking filing for land using the indian heritage.

Any ideas what happened to Jakob Steinkoenig's first children. I know it is said that his first wife Maria died and the last child, but nothing on the other children.

I want to thank you for the information from Germany, I like just about everyone else had his wife as Barbara and the children incorrect.

I also noticed a ship list posted out there for the bilander Vernon for August 1, 1747, the ship Jakob came over on. The list did not have the Jacob Steinkogig as in the original book with the (?), it has the name Jacob Steinbring, not sure if typo or what, didn't know if you had seen this. It is posted on the Olive Tree ship logs.

Again thanks and hope to hear from you.
