There is mistake in the Ship Manifest. In fact his first name was Bostjan and Last name was DANE, and also mother`s last name could not be Bostjan but Dane.
Trzin is the Municipality and town in today`s Slovenia. There is also DANE surname in the Slovene telephone book.
Correct spelling of your grandfather`s name in the 1930 Illinois Census could also be Bostjan and not Bartjam!
