- I'd avoid linking Samuel SHELLY to Christian and Magdalena (Peelman) SHELLy. Samuel is about 45 years younger than Christian, futher "World Trees" are only guess work unles the info comes from reliable, cited sources

Samuel was a common name among the Shellys. His location in Rockhill Twp. is suggestive since his son, Charles, was enumerated there in 1860.
A Samuel SHELLY is listed in the 1800 census for Milford Twp., Bucks Co., Penn. Household consisted of:
1 male 16-15, 1 male 45+; 2 females under 10; 4 females 10-15; 2 females 45+. This family seems too old for Samuel ID 1150.
