Do you know any facts about Samuel Shelly background?

Right now I'm entertaining the idea of his father being Christian Shelly b 1729 Lanc, Lanc, PA; d 1788 Papho Twp, L.,PA married to Magdalena Peelman (no info on birth or mother or father)

Then possibly Christian's Mom and Dad being Jacob Shelly & Mary Kneisle.

I pulled these leads from the world tree and have nothing to verify.

On Christian B. Shelly (1805-1883), in addition to your 1860, 1870, and 1880 censuses, I have an 1850 under Christian B. Shelly that actually names the wife and the children.
