Francis Mark Sheley, 88, RD2, Brockport, died Sunday June 20, 2004 at his home. Born Sept. 5, 1915, in Brockway, he was the son of the late Leslie and Anna Greenalch Sheley. He was married to Kathryn Stewart in April 1939; she preceded him in death Dec. 29, 1976. He married Mary Ellen Brumberg in 1981. She survives. He served from January 1943-August 1945, in the US Army 147th Ordnance Motor Vehicle Assembly Co. in the European Theater during World War II. He was a member of St. Tobias Catholic Church in Brockway. He worked as an inspector for Brockway Glass Co. for 40 years before retiring. He also served as the Local 110 Union President. He enjoyed traveling and gardening. He was also a member of the Horton Sportsmen Club, the Crenshaw Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Brockport Army and Navy Club. He is also survived by three daughters; Patricia Huffman of Brockport, Linda Ward of Brockway, and Kathleen Federici of DuBois; two sons, Mark Sheley and Greg Sheley, both of Brockport; three stepdaughters; sue Ellen Welsh of Brockway and Cindy Galluzzi and dawn Reitz, both of Brockport; one stepson, Greg Calhoun of Brockport; one sister, Faye sevinsky of Emporium; 24 grandchildren, 34 gret-grandchildren; and five gret-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; four brothers, Harold, Clifford, Paul and Jack; and one sister, Dorothy Moore. Not related to deceased. Notify Administrator about this message?
