I'm researching the SHAW family from Richard SHAW born in Abt. 1838 in Manchester, England. His father was possibly a Issac SHAW.
Richards adult life was in Eaglehawk, Victoria, Australia and he married Eliza Jane StJOHN in 1869 in Eaglehawk.
They had the following children
James Richard SHAW born 1879 in Axedale, Victoria, Australia.
George Garnet SHAW born 1882 in Axedale, Victoria, Australia.
Teresa SHAW born 1885 in Eaglehawk, Victoria, Australia.
Oliver Musgrove SHAW born 1887in Eaglehawk,Victoria,Australia.
Also, the Christian name GARNET keeps appearing in my SHAW research. Does anyone know how GARNET fits into the family.
