Johann Henry Schumann married Catherine Maloney in Castelmaine, Victoria, Australia July 28th 1857. Johann listed his age as 34 and birthplace as Leipzig, Saxony. Catherine was 22 and from Limerick. Catherine's parents were Michael Maloney and Ellen (nee Ryan). Johann's parents were Frederick and Fredericka - cannot read her maiden name on the Marriage certificate. I have the Death Certificate for Catherine, but cannot find record for Johann. Catherine is buried at Wodonga Cemetery, Victoria.
As this couple are my Great Grandparents, I would like to know more about them. If anyone can help further, it would be much appreciated.
