I am researching the Messmer/Schumann family that located Manistee, Michigan. Mary R. was born around 1863, Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa. She is the daughter of Dominick and Elizabeth Bek/Beck Messmer. Mary R. Messmer married a Schumann. From her half-brother’s obituary, it lists that Mary R. Schumann was still living in Manistee, Michigan as of 8/31/1958. Mary R. Schumann and Kate Schumann are sisters. I am interested in locating any information on this family. Any and all help is appreciated.
