My husband's grandmother, Wilhelmina Auguste Shumann (paries) came to Canada with her husband, Wilhelm Parias (paries) and her parents Karl and Wilhelmina (?) about 1909. In Wilhelmina's 1940 report to Canadian Government, she said she and her parents were from Posen, German. Since Posen is so large and I am unable to narrow it down, I have been unable to go back any further on this line. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Jackie
