Hi, Larry,
I think that some other Schmitz researchers have forwarded me e-mails that you sent them. Are you the one that has information on the wagon train that came from SC to MS, and that John Adam Schmitz died in Itawamba County?

My grandmother was Martha Melissa Schmitz, d/o Rev. Charles Thomas Schmitz, who was s/o William Thomas Schmitz and Melissa Jane Schmitz, who were first cousins. William Thomas Schmitz was s/o William Jacob Schmitz and Elizabeth Ann Bundrick. Melissa Jane Schmitz was d/o George Solomon Schmitz and Lavinia Farr. William Jacob and George Solomon were sons of John Adam Schmitz and Mary Ann Schumpert.

I was in Columbia about 5 years ago and have photographs of the tombstone. I would love to swap information with you. Melissa Kitchens, Oxford MS
