Carl Schaldach Family - Immigrated 1873 from Prussia

My great great grandparents Carl and Minna (Minne) Schaldach immigrated to the US from Prussia. Information on the Germans to America CD 1850-1874 states that Minna and her children - Reinhold (born about 1870), Gustav L.(born 1871)and a daughter Martha (also called Minna - born about 1873)departed from Bremen on the USS Donau and arrived in the US on 10/10/1873. I believe they arrived in New York. This record does not show Carl being with them so he may have left earlier than the rest of the family. As with some immigration records, the names are misspelled. In this case, the Germans to America CD lists the name as being spelled "Schaltach" but the actual spelling is SCHALDACH. They had 3 additional children all born in Michigan. They were Carl (born about 1875), Otto (born about 1877) and Amanda (born about 1879). They are shown in the 1880 Michigan census - Detroit area. My great grandfather, Gustav Schaldach's wife's name was Auguste. I have no information on her maiden name (they were married about 1900). Gustav L. Schaldach was my great grandfather and resided in the Detroit/Eastpointe area for most, if not all of his married life. Since the records from Bremen were destroyed, I cannot find out what town Carl and Minna were from. If anyone knows anything about any member of this family (or past generations), please contact me.
