i have obits,my gg grand parents .nellie rae is native american,also a pic.of her in obit,.plus a lot more ! also they were luthern. Jans(americanized to james)martin came to texas in 1853. he was a stone mason,and built the first lutheran church in quihi,texas, bethlaham luteran church,which still stands today. there is also a saathoff mountain near by . have lots of info on this line of saathoffs and there cousins.feel free to e-mail larry mattinson
