Can anyone tell me the first Rutherfords in Sangamon County Illinois.
My ancestor John T Rutherford was found to be in Illinois prior to 1820 When he and Hester Constant married.
I found JOhn Rutherford also listed as Retherford in the Civil war rosters. I found
