I found my ancesters in 1880 census in union, middle fork, randolph wv. the found john in the civil war he was a confederate paroled in 1862 from camp lee va.he was born in va and his mother va but father in ohio. he amrried an elizabeth a. ? and had my ggrandfather in highland co. va in 1866. i have been everywhere trying to find out who elisabeth is. and who john's parents are. please help i have been two years tring to find out this rutherford line.
