I am seeking ancestry on David N. Russell born July 12, 1792 in Scotland. He came to United States around 1806 (perhaps through Baltimore, MD)and settled in Logan County, KY where it appears he married Lydia McElwain (born in Ireland) whose mother (Frances)was the daughter of a lord from the House of Rouden in England. David was born in Scotland. I do not have any farther back on David N. Russell. Unfortunately, it is a very common name. He may have beeen injured as a civilian during the Battle of Trafalger. We believe his middle name was Nimmo. Any help would be helpful.
