You could write for her birth certificate if you know where she was born. You would write to the county of her birth. Do you know when she married your grandfather? Please tell me her husband's name and the names of her children. Do you know the exact date of her death? You could write to the courthouse in the county where she died to get her death certificate. Birth and death certificates usually have the names of both parents (the father's name and the mother's maiden name). Her social security number is known. If you send for the application it could have the names of her parents also.
