I am looking for my gggrandmother, Mary Russel.
She immigrated from Ireland from Londonderry on the Fanny which arrived in New York in April 1848. I believe she was around 15 years old. I don't know where she was born or anything about her family. Nor do I know how she arrived in Pike County Illinois where she married my gggrandfather Nathan Foreman in 1853. She died in Pike County Illinois in 1873. Any information would be appreciated.
