I am interested in tracing the ancestry or collateral descendants of Elizabeth Rummins or Rumaines, who was born in 1733 in Brede, Sussex.
Her parents were Thomas Rummins and Ann Kent (m. in Lamberhurst, Kent, 1730). Later children were Thomas b 1736, John b 1738, Ann b 1741, John b 1744, Edward b 1746.
Elizabeth married Thomas Standen at Brede on 26 June 1755. They had two (known) children, John b 1757 and Elizabeth b 1764. Elizabeth Standen married John Catt in Udimore on 4 May 1785. She is my ancestor.
