just to update you on the info I have about my Runens ancestors.
my paternal Grandmother was Doris Eleanor Rumens,her Father was Daniel Austin Rumens born about 1877 in Hawkhurst Kent.Daniel was married to Elizabeth and he was skipper of a barge.
In 1881 Daniel was listed as living in Bromley Kent.He was about 4yrs old at this time.The household is listed below.

So with a lot of help from different people,I have been able to trace back to my Great Great Grandfather.My Father is named William Daniel Austin,the Daniel Austin after his Grandfather.
