I was pleased to find others researching the Rumens name as I have a Rumens ancestral line on my father's side.
Mary Ann Rumens was the mother of my paternal grandfather. She was born in Lamberhurst in 1848. Her Father was James Rumens born Lamberhurst 1825 and her mother was Mary Ann Bones born Wadhurst 1826.
You may not have any information but I would be interested to know if Mary Ann Rumens had any brothers or sisters.
I have further ancestral information on the Rumens/Rummins line but very little in the form of descendants.
I look forward to hearing from you either by email or through genforum. Perhaps we can swap information.
