Looking for any info on the following family, especially the parents Theophile and Elmire. Where they came from, parents, dates, etc. I am descended from Christine Roussel and Louis Gagne.

       First 3 children possibly born in USA:

First child born in Granby. Fourth child, George Napoleon Gagne, b. August 12, 1893 in St.Albans, VT.

1871 census:
Theophile 40, and Elmire 38 were living on Lot 9 Range 5, Shefford (according to the map this is on Shefford mountain in the dip between the two peaks). He owned 90 acres with 4 out buildings, 1 acre cultivated and 8 acres of pasture, 25 a. improved. 1 1/4 a. of potatoes produced 196 bushels. He produced 100 lbs. of maple sugar. He had 13 head of cattle including 2 work oxen. He produced 200 lbs of butter, 36 lbs. of wool, 50 yards of homemade cloth, and sold 7 sheep for slaughter. He also raised corn and had 18 bundles of hay.
Six children: Joel 13, Paul 11, Julie 9, Orlie 7, David 5, and Christine 2.
