Greetings to the forum: I am looking for any information on the ancestry of Theophile Roussel and Elmire Giard who were the parents of my Great-grandmother Christine Roussel. Christine was married in Granby, Shefford, Que. to Louis Edouard Gagnier (Gagne) Nov. 6, 1884. At that time she listed Elmire as her mother, however, Elmire had already died as the 1881 census has Theophile listed with his second wife Philomene (Poisson) also in Granby.

Also, if anyone else is looking for the same info we should keep in touch in case one of us comes up with it.
