James Rousseau and Lavinia Few married Feb.1, 1810 in Columbia Co., Ga. He was the son of John Rousseau and Jane Reeves who came from Virginia to Columbia Co., Ga, grandson of William and Priscilla Mauzy Rousseau of Westmoreland Co., VA. Great-grandson of Hillaire Rousseau, a Huegenot refugee.
