My records indicate the following regarding Mary Lou Rousseau and her ancestors:
Mary Lou was the last of six children born to John Rousseau(b. 1809, Wilkes Co., NC. d. 1859, Jackson Co, AL) and Martha ?. Mary Lou was also born in Jackson Co., AL. and as you already know, married Levi Anderson and then moved west to Texas/Oklahoma. Her parents, John and Martha are ostensibly buried in one of the several unmarked graves in the Rousseau family cemetery in Jackson Co. near Garth. If you ever visit that old homestead, the directions to Rousseau Hollow and Rousseau Cemetery are now well marked along County Highway 65 along the border of Madison and Jackson counties in Alabama. The direct Rousseau ancestors of John Rousseau above are as follows:
