With Hariet (sic) Allen, relationship “si” or “se”, age 48, born DC.
The latter, Charles Rousseau, is the one I’m looking for. Anyone have any info on Rousseaus from BELGIUM? This nationality is supported in other census records and also in an application for a widows pension by Henrietta Spalding Rousseau. That application indicates she knows of no family in Belgium or anyone who knew him in Belgium.
Could this be an assumed name?
