Hilaire's father was Maxima Rousseau, b. 1818. Hilaire was born in 1841 and married Mary Harpe, born in 1853. His son, Hilaire, Jr. was born in 1871 and was married to Anna Mitchell. I can't authenticate any of this information because I received no documentation with it. I'm suspicious of the name "Maxima," because I've explored much Quebec genealogy and have never seen that name before. Those folks tended to use the same names in families, and to name their children after French saints.
