I may be able to help you straighten out at least a few of the Faribault Rousseaus. My father was Joseph, and he was born in Faribault, MN. His father was Elzear, and he and his wife Zoe Thiffault came to Faribault from Rutland, Vermont. Both were born in Quebec. However, there was another branch of the family--Eli Rousseau, who, my father said, was a cousin, but I've been unable to trace the exact relationship. Also, an Xavier is buried in St. Lawrence Cemetery who may be Elzear's brother.
