I read your posting with interest. I am trying to find the parents of a Samuel Mulford. Documents say that his parents were Charles and Nancy Ross Mulford. Records say that Samuel Mlford came from Somerset Co., N.J. or he came from Philadelphia, PA. One other point, Samuel Mulford was living in Louisiana by 1788 per church records. Your Ross relative lived in Louisiana around the same time and may have gone to Louisiana from PA together. Can you shed any light on my Samuel Mulford or his parents?
